The San Diego County Airport authority approved (by a 7-2 vote) a proposal to seek "shared use" at Miramar. This proposal appeared on the November 7, 2006 ballot.

did you know that an FAA report, released in 2004, listed 42 airports that would exceed capacity by 2020 - and Lindbergh Field isn't one of them? So much for the Airport Authority's claim that capacity will be exceeded by 2015......
